Biking (or scooting) Orcas Island is an incredible way to see all the island has to offer. Unlike driving a car or other forms of transportation, exploring by bike or moped allows the journey around the island to be as fun as the destinations themselves. Traveling down winding coastal roads to visit local farms, wineries, pottery studios, restaurants, and hidden coves with a breeze blowing past you is an experience like no other. Bike and moped rentals are available from various locations and can be delivered to anywhere on Orcas Island.

Rent A Moped
Join our friends at Orcas Mopeds and get around the island on a quick 50cc Moped. These rides are as fun as a bike but as efficient as a car! Anyone over 18 with a valid drivers license can ride.

Leave the car at home and explore the islands on our capable fleet of electric bikes. With pedal assist, a throttle and fat tires, these bikes can get you just about anywhere! Deliveries also provided.

Should I Bike or Moped?

E-Bikes

If you can ride a bike, you can ride an E-bike. Our Fleet of Aventon and Rad Power bikes are a powerful and familiar way to conquer the hills of Orcas Island. We recommend 4 hours per half of the island. If you're planning to ride a full day, be prepared to charge sometime during your trip! Anyone 12 and up can bike.

Mopeds

For those who want to see more and cover more ground. Mopeds are a great balance between speed and utility on Orcas Island. Capable of going the speed limit on the majoriy of roads, these are perfect for people looking to explore all of what Orcas has to offer in a quick and fun way. The twist throttle and heavier weight can be a learning curve for some! Staff will teach you the basics and make sure you can get off safely. Must be 18 or older to ride.
