SUCIA ISLAND
SUCIA
Often called the “Crown Jewel” of the San Juans, Sucia Island is home to some of the best wildlife, geology and scenery you can find in the Islands.
With a mix of rocky shoreline, sheltered bays, and sandstone cliffs, its geology is something you don’t see anywhere else in the San Juans. Hiking the islands vast trail system or kayaking through the coves and inlets is a great way to discover some of the incredible plant and wildlife the island has to offer. Home to Seals, Porpoises, River Otters, Octopus, Moon Jellies and so much more, the islands diversity is some of the best.
